  • Students will be able to focus on the present moment through belly breathing

PROTIP: In facilitating a Mindfulness exercise, it’s important to use the language of “become aware of” or “notice” instead of “think about” because we do not want students to actively engage in or follow their thoughts. We want them to simply notice those thoughts, non-judgmentally, and return back to the breath.
